Laws (Act No.), p. 206) [1953 Ga. Laws (Act No. 837), p. 3120], as amended. The City of Jasper, Georgia, in the County of Pickens, and the inhabitants thereof are constituted and declared a body politic and corporate under the same name and style of Jasper, Georgia, and by that name shall have perpetual succession, may sue and be sued, may plead and be impleaded in all courts and in all actions whatsoever, and may have and use a common seal and change it at pleasure.
